SHAPE BORROWING

1. Shape borrowing can be used to create a new design that are unique and different from the usual design.  A random but nice shape may be used by the person drawing or designing an object for an opportunity for a business.   The design may be conventional and attract more customers.  Thus, shape borrowing is good for creating a great design.

2. SCAMPER is used to refine the function and appearance of an idea by also creating a new design with a new function by using a set of directed questions which is answered by the person doing it.  The questions direct the person to thinking about many ways to come up with new ideas. So, there are many different objects that can be created from that one object by the new problem and opportunity given.  Thus, there are many possibilities for many new objects to be created by SCAMPER.
